Carbon dots for ultrastable solid?state batteries

Among the solid electrolytes for solid-state Li batteries, polymer are actively explored on basis of good interfacial contact and easy making, while it is still constrained by slow ionic transport low lithium ion transference number. Herein, functional carbon dots-based Li+ conductor (CD-Li) designed to improve dynamics selectivity in polyethylene oxide (PEO) electrolyte. High conductivity (1.0 × 10?4 S/cm, 25 °C) number (0.60) were successfully achieved within CD-Li-based PEO composite electrolyte, which could be attributed enhanced chain movement limited motion anion. Moreover, characteristics big volume individual anions CD-Li can provide more free Li+. As well, benefiting from existence F atom CD-Li, in-situ constructed LiF-containing layer favor maintaining interface stability facilitating rapid transmission ions. The electrolyte with address issues accompanied strengthening stability. distinctive realizes stable cycle performance Li/LiFePO4 Li/LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2 batteries. exploration multifunctional dot fillers provides new ideas efficient development electrolytes.
